Historic self-catering accommodation in a peaceful and secluded setting in the NSW Central Tablelands, 20 minutes from Orange and 35 minutes from Bathurst.
The Stables and The Dairy are located in the three acre grounds of the homestead of the working beef and sheep property 'Godolphin', just off the Mitchell Highway at Guyong - home to the first gold discoverers.
The accommodation is close to Byng and other historic villages, award winning restaurants and cool climate wineries. Both buildings have been renovated retaining the original rustic features while providing comfort and modern facilities.
The Dairy
The Dairy is a self-contained, small, historical colonial cottage suitable for a couple or a family with one or two young children. Featuring one double bedroom/en suite, sunny enclosed veranda with sitting area and single bed (extra single can be added), combined kitchen and living. Self-catering, fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, microwave, barbecue, electric heating, electric blankets, television/DVD, radio/CD.
All accommodation has linen and towels and tea and coffee provisions supplied.
The Stables
Large two-storey, self-contained, convict built in 1859 Cornish-style building. Three double-bedrooms plus extra singles for children, two bathrooms, downstairs and upstairs sitting rooms and dining, wood heater and open fire, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and electric stove, television and DVD, barbecue in rear sunny courtyard, radio/CD/Ipod station.
