Directly across the road from the Banjo Paterson Museum in Yeoval is the Banjo Paterson Bush Park. It features several sculptures and art installations rarely seen outside metro areas.
Start at the exceptionally large steel hat - modelled on the lines of the Akubra Heritage Collection Banjo Paterson hat - in a garden of Australian trees and shrubs planted during a World Youth Caring For Creation conference.
The park also features s the tallest bronze sculpture in Australia. Standing 6 metres tall it is the abstract head of Banjo Paterson and weighs six tonnes. Follow the trail along the creek to view more installations and artworks, from artists and locals.
Take a picnic, take a walk and enjoy the serenity of the bush park in Yeoval.
