The Trade Caravan is a unique shop established by Sue for her retirement.
The Trade Caravan offers handmade artisan jewellery and textiles made by women from Australia and around the world. There are handloomed silks from the House of Wandering Silk, India, 98% pure Karen Silver from Stories of Silver, Bangkok and brass and leather earrings and necklaces from Hamimi, Marrakech.
All are on display in velvet-lined cabinets that customers are encouraged to touch, feel and try. 'One of' the collections could be from Egypt, Greece, Turkey or Mexico as Sue encounters them on her travels. Gorgeous upcycled costume jewellery in bold designs arrives regularly from Northern NSW as does delicate origami paper earrings from Sydney.
All items are unique, made by women, and handmade.
