Known as ‘Australia’s Food Basket’, the region is a haven of vineyard-dotted hills and abundant stonefruit and orchards. The town celebrates its diverse food and wine scene with numerous festivals throughout the year attracting visitors from across Australia, but none more popular than long-running Orange F.O.O.D Week. This ten-day autumnal feast features events such as a progressive eight-course degustation through the regions most scenic vistas. Similarly Orange Wine Festival is another highlight. Over two weeks in October the community unites to celebrate its unique viticulture and thriving wine industry with a packed program of inspired experiences and events.
