Blayney

Steeped in rich farming history and industry, the historic town of Blayney NSW is an easy half hour drive from Blayney to Bathurst. Surrounded by picturesque countryside, this vibrant community enjoys modern facilities among treasured traces of the past.

The tranquil region of Borenore NSW is located a scenic twenty minute drive from Orange. Peer beyond the gumtree-lined country laneways and bridle tracks and you will find one of the most abundant regions in the district for local produce.

Beside the Belubula river in the beautiful red-earth countryside, sits the town of Canowindra NSW. Well known for hot air ballooning and fish fossil discoveries, today it is also an arts and tourism hub in the region.

Carcoar

The picture-perfect village of Carcoar is nestled in a small sheltered valley beside the meandering Belubula River. A true historic gem, it is the third-oldest settlement west of the Blue Mountains.

The small village of Cargo NSW is a pleasant twenty minute drive from Nashdale. Take in sweeping panoramic views of the valley and orchards of apples, stonefruits and cherries.

Cudal

A quiet, historic village, Cudal NSW has rich wheat and sheep farming heritage and is diverse in industry. The town is particularly picturesque during canola cropping season, creating a patchwork of green and gold across the landscape.

Cumnock

Rich in sporting and community culture, Cumnock is now firmly on the map with the Animals on Bikes Paddock Art Trail; over 100 scultpures along 120km between Molong and Dubbo Zoo, via Cumnock and Yeoval. The rolling hills surrounding Cumnock are well regarded for sheep and wool production, cattle and grain.

Eugowra

A picturesque town settled along the banks of Mandagery Creek, Eugowra NSW is the heart of bushranger country. It was at nearby Escort Rock that the infamous Frank Gardiner and his gang pulled off the biggest gold robbery in Australian history, stealing 77kg of gold, and £3,700 in cash.

Lucknow

The small historic town of Lucknow NSW is a familiar sight for those travelling to Orange along the Mitchell Highway. Easily identifiable by the distinctive ‘poppet head’ mining machinery greeting visitors as they enter the town, there are traces of the towns origins to be found throughout the village.

To look upon the tranquil village of Lyndhurst NSW today, it is difficult to imagine that the town was once on a short-list of sites for the national capital. Located just 4km from the historic town of Mandurama, Lyndhurst is known for its thriving agricultural industry and surrounded by green pastures and picturesque waterways.

Surrounded by green pastures and picturesque waterways, the town has become a service centre for the surrounding rich agricultural area which boasts some of the finest homesteads in the Central West.

Manildra NSW is a small town situated on the banks of Mandagery Creek. Surrounded by rich agricultural land, fields of green wheat and golden canola create a patchwork across the landscape.

Millthorpe

A picturesque heritage-listed town, Millthorpe NSW is a step back to the 1900s with a contemporary edge. Cobbled, bluestone-lined streets border relatively unchanged 19th century buildings, many now housing fine dining restaurants, sophisticated homewares stores or boutique accommodation.

Molong

Nestled between golden poplars and the rolling green hills of the Macquarie Ranges sits the picturesque town of Molong NSW. The name Molong is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning ‘place of many rocks’.

Mullion Creek (And Ophir)

Set amongst steep escarpments of red and russet rock that tower over waterfalls, creeks and traces of gold rush days past, the Ophir and Mullion Creek NSW region is rich in history and natural beauty. Ophir is an important site which has changed the course of history in Australia in the 19th century.

Nashdale

Set at the foot of Mount Canoblas amongst bucolic rolling hills, visitors can find the small, yet industrious village of Nashdale NSW. Surrounded by picturesque orchards and vineyards, it is a well-known fruit-growing area, producing cherries, peaches, plums, apples, figs and quinces, plus many others depending on the season. It is the ideal spot for picking your own fruit, or you can stop by one of the farmgates to buy direct from the grower.

Neville

Neville NSW is a small, pretty village in close proximity to the spectacular cavern system of Abercrombie Caves. Neville enjoys four distinct seasons - warm summers, an abundance of scented roses in spring, and dramatic foliage in autumn.

Newbridge

With around just 100 residents, the tiny farming community of Newbridge is one of the smallest in the region. Newbridge village developed around the railway line and station which was built in 1876.

Spring Hill

Just ten minutes drive from the pretty town of Millthorpe sits the historic village of Spring Hill NSW. With origins tracing back to 1832, this small village features some lovely examples of buildings from the late 19th century, notably the quaint bluestone Uniting Church, and the Spring Hill Temperance Hall, still in use as the community hall.

Situated on the doorstep of Goobang National Park sits the small village of Yeoval NSW. Settled in 1868 when gold, silver and copper were discovered nearby, some lovely buildings from the era still stand resplendent in the town.
