Just ten minutes drive from the pretty town of Millthorpe sits the historic village of Spring Hill NSW. With origins tracing back to 1832, this small village features some lovely examples of buildings from the late 19th century, notably the quaint bluestone Uniting Church, and the Spring Hill Temperance Hall, still in use as the community hall.
Five minutes from the heart of the village is a popular berry farm. On a summers day, visitors to the farm can be found picking baskets of berries, from strawberries to gooseberries, or stocking up on jams and chutneys. There are many farm animals to visit as well as a cafe on site.
Spring Hill also features a family-friendly pub, takeaway cafe which is also the Post Office, a park and a public school, and is close to Orange Regional Airport.
There is a recreational ground with camping facilities and visitors might like to walk the Spring Hill heritage trail walk.
The area is a popular destination for cyclists, being part of a scenic drive and cycle route that includes Millthorpe, Forest Reefs and Lucknow.
